Dexter has driven commercial, analytical, and financial projects across the FMCG, Tech, Education & Financial Services sectors.

Having led teams within Ernst & Young’s Financial Services Audit practice, where he qualified as an Accountant (CA), his more recent responsibilities include driving commercial & growth initiatives at a global FMCG company and as COO for an Education Tech startup.

He’s also Treasurer and Member of the Board for a National Youth Network & Charity in the U.K.

RECENT NOTABLE EXPERIENCE:

  • Led revenue enhancement initiatives (+£50m) & steered product portfolio strategy at the largest food manufacturer in the CEEMEA region;
  • Responsible for the financial performance of a +£90m brand portfolio for a global FMCG company. His work included the evaluation and execution of strategic, operational & financial aspects of business proposals, alongside driving product performance reviews & competitor benchmarking;
  • Business Partner & finance coach to Marketing, Innovation & Manufacturing teams at a Global FMCG company. Responsible for preparation of divisional budgets, financial forecasting and senior-executive decision-making support;

  • Treasurer for London’s Children & Youth Evidence Hub, working closely with the CEO to develop countrywide growth plans, ensuring operational sustainability, taking responsibility for financial planning and robust system controls;
  • Co-Founder & COO of a UK EdTech startup recognised by Sir Richard Branson & Steve Wozniak as ‘Best Idea – One to Watch’ EMEA in 2017. Responsible for business development, with particular ownership of commercial strategy, financial planning, KPI performance & fundraising;
  • Led and managed teams at a Big 4 Accountancy Firm for rigorous financial statement audits of a range of top tier Banks & Charities (under UK GAAP and IFRS regulations).
